Tastes great, maintains it's texture after cooking. Love it!!
I have always loved Kishimen noodles, but it was difficult to purchase here in United States. I love this brand. It's a bit narrower than what I remember, but it was still good and cooked well. My kishimen noodle tasted like restaurant quality, not home made. In my opinion typically, noodles in a restaurants are better, but this kishimen noodles came out well.
Thia noodle cooked exactly as directed on the package. Very tasty, and nice firm texture. There is a good bite to it, but it's not too hard and it's not too soft. I very much loved this noodle and will be buying more.
Tastes like the ones my mom ate growing up in Ibaraki.
I use this with my baked vegan tofu katsu for an impromptu sauce, along with the yuzu spread and junmai shoyu and it works so well. I also used it with some spicy corn to liven it up as a side dish with brown rice. Very small container, but very interesting flavour to try. The yuzu works well to balance out spicy foods or give blander ones a kick of flavour.
