Sesame oil is an amazingly fragrant and delicious oil that can be used for everything from stir-frying vegetables to garnishing salads. This premium sesame oil has been made with the highest graded sesame seeds in the world, and was processed using the traditional method, rather than mass-market methods that utilize chemical additives to promote a quick extraction of sesame oil in a shorter period of time. The traditional time consuming process without any chemicals is well worth it, because the result is a full-bodied, aromatic oil. You'll definitely notice a significant difference in this sesame oil versus other mass-produced sesame oils.

Sesame oil is a versatile ingredient. Use as cooking oil for stir-fry for tofu, meat, veggies, or any types of noodles including rice noodles, yakisoba noodles, udon noodles, and buckwheat noodles. Drizzle it on soup dishes such as udon or miso soup. Whisk it into vinaigrette or salad dressing such as rice vinegar. It goes well with a little tamari soy sauce. Of course, adding sesame seeds is always a perfect combination. In Japan (especially in Eastern Japan), it is added to tempura oil or salad oil to cook tempura or deep-fried dishes, resulting in a subtle nutty flavor.

GAME CHANGER

Very pleased as this was my first purchase of an oil I never tasted in person. Can never go back to supermarket sesame oil.
Like tasting a fine wine for the FIRST time, your taste buds awaken to new possibilities of what you can create in your own kitchen.

Amazing. Delicious. Fragrant.

When you open the bottle the fragrance wafts though the kitchen. Used cold, used hot, added to a dipping sauce- this is completely different from the insipid oils we've used in the past. It is absolutely delicious and adds a wonderful, rich touch to any dish. Most recently we used it in a dipping sauce for dumplings along with rice wine vinegar and Tamari- the richness that it added was unmistakeable. This is what sesame oil is supposed to be.
