Ponzu is a classic Japanese condiment that exhibits a combination of salty-sweet-citrus flavor. It is highly versatile, often used as a dipping sauce for sashimi, gyoza, and many other dishes. Made with several kinds of acidic citrus juice, soy sauce, and dashi, ponzu has a distinctive taste you will love, for the combination of ingredients serves to truly enhance and elevate the flavor of many foods and dishes. This premium ponzu has been specially crafted by a group of chefs who worked together for over a year to develop a ponzu that is well-balanced and full of umami.

Ponzu has the perfect balance of salty, tangy and sweet, which will enhance a wide variety of foods. While the most common use is as a dipping sauce for hot pot dishes and shabu shabu, you can use it for many other dishes and flavor other ingredients. It makes a wonderful dressing, and can also be used to make marinades for vegetables, meat, and fish. Also, combined with soy sauce, ponzu can be a wonderful dipping sauce called "ponzu shoyu" for sashimi. If you're bored with Worcestershire sauce, try a little ponzu with your grilled steak or drizzle on a raw oyster.

Daidai Citrus Juice, Citrus Sudachi Juice, Yuzu Juice, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Mirin, Sugar, Salt, Dried Bonito, Seaweed, Dried Shiitake Mushroom, Monosodium Glutamate.

Strong citrus flavor and taste

This Ponzu has a strong citrus taste.
We are not always satisfied with a regular ponzu and modify the taste by adding extra lemon, etc. I don’t need to change anything for this Ponzu. We can just enjoy it with the way it is!
