This organic uji matcha is made only from organic leaves grown in Uji, the south region of Kyoto. The leaves are selected by Masaru Kikuoka, who is one of Japan's top certified tea masters. - For a cup of delicious matcha, place 1 tsp matcha into a cup, pour ? cup hot water, and whisk.
- For a refreshing matcha banana smoothie, cut two frozen bananas into small pieces and put in a blender along with 4 tsp matcha and 1.5 cup milk. Add sugar if you like your smoothie a bit sweeter. Blend until smooth.
- For a marshmallow-sweet matcha latte, melt 1 tsp matcha with 1/2 tsp hot water, pour in 3/4 cup milk and add 2 marshmallows, then whisk. Microwave it for about 1.5 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before consuming.
